Voices of Donation
Winston Morris, Jr.
Winston Morris, Jr. passed away at age 55 of complications from head trauma following a fall. Debbie Morris, the wife of Winston, said he was very outgoing and always the life of the party.
Winston had a beautiful baritone voice and cried at movies and when he heard beautiful music, Debbie said. He was loyal to his friends, hardworking and loved animals. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and son-in-law, Debbie said.
Winston was a spontaneous and moody person who was “very sarcastic and funny with a crazy laugh,” Debbie said.
Debbie and Winston discussed becoming donors with their children many years before the accident happened. “We were all four in agreement that we wanted to be organ and tissue donors,” Debbie said.
Debbie is a registered nurse and said she has seen people who need all types of donations. “Our family was very aware of the need and felt any other decision would be selfish,” Debbie said. She said it is their way of blessing another family.
"Winston affected the lives of over 50 people through the use of his organs and tissue,” Debbie said. “We think that’s a great way to remember a great guy!”
