Maria Fowlkes

Frank Fowlkes lost his wife, Maria, to cancer at the age of 66.

“Maria was a saint,” Frank said. “She loved her children and husband dearly and only wanted the best for all of them.”

Maria was a loyal and considerate person with an exceptional work ethic. She was faithful and loved God greatly.

“She never complained no matter what,” Frank said. “She loved her job and did her best all the time.”

When Frank received the call from RTI, he decided to donate Maria’s corneas. Although he misses her very much, he said he wanted to give someone else the opportunity to see the world through her eyes.
